DELIVERY TERMS
For the online store www.saunaroom.eu
Effective from 13 June 2026
These Delivery Terms establish the procedure under which SIA “vvwood” arranges the delivery of products purchased from the online store www.saunaroom.eu.
1. Delivery Area
SIA “vvwood” delivers products within the territory of the Republic of Latvia.
Delivery to other European Union countries and to countries outside the European Union may be available depending on the particular product, its dimensions, weight, and the delivery address.
International delivery availability, delivery time, and costs may be calculated automatically during checkout or agreed individually with the buyer.
Delivery of certain oversized, heavy, fragile, or custom-made products may not be available to every country or region.
2. Delivery Methods
The delivery methods available to the buyer are displayed during the checkout process.
Depending on the product’s dimensions, weight, availability, order volume, and delivery address, the following methods may be offered:
courier delivery to the address specified by the buyer;
delivery to a parcel locker or other collection point where the product’s dimensions and weight permit;
freight delivery for oversized or heavy products;
collection from a SIA “vvwood” collection location where this option is available;
delivery by a specialised carrier;
another delivery method individually agreed with the buyer.
SIA “vvwood” may change the delivery method initially selected where this is necessary to transport the product safely. Any such change will be agreed with the buyer before the product is dispatched.
3. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges depend on:
the destination country and address;
the selected delivery method;
the dimensions and weight of the product;
the dimensions of the packaging;
the number of products included in the order;
the transportation solution required.
The delivery charge is displayed during checkout or communicated to the buyer before the order is finally confirmed.
Where the delivery charge cannot be calculated automatically, SIA “vvwood” will calculate and agree it individually with the buyer before processing the order or issuing an invoice.
Where free delivery is stated for a specific product in the online store, product description, or promotional material, it applies only within the territory, period, and conditions specified in the relevant offer.
For international orders, the buyer may be required to pay customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. Such charges are not included in the product or delivery price unless otherwise stated.
4. Delivery Time
Products that are in stock are normally handed over for delivery within 1–5 business days after payment has been received or the order has been confirmed.
The actual delivery time depends on the buyer’s location, the selected carrier, and the characteristics of the product.
For custom-made products, the manufacturing and delivery time is agreed separately, taking into account:
the type of product;
the required dimensions;
the availability of materials;
the complexity of the order;
the manufacturing volume;
the selected delivery solution.
Any estimated manufacturing or delivery period stated in the product description, quotation, or order confirmation is indicative unless the parties have agreed on a specific deadline in writing.
Unless the parties have agreed on another delivery period, products will be delivered to a consumer without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded, except where the consumer has agreed to a different period.
Where order fulfilment or delivery is delayed, SIA “vvwood” will inform the buyer as soon as reasonably possible using the contact details provided with the order.
5. Buyer’s Responsibilities at the Time of Delivery
The buyer is responsible for:
providing a complete and accurate delivery address;
providing a valid email address and telephone number;
informing SIA “vvwood” about any access restrictions at the delivery location;
being available at the time of delivery or arranging an authorised recipient;
providing a safe place for unloading where necessary;
inspecting the external condition of the packaging upon delivery;
checking the number of packages received;
checking for visible damage.
Where the packaging or product is visibly damaged, the buyer should, where possible, document the damage in the presence of the carrier and record it in the delivery documents.
The buyer should inform SIA “vvwood” as soon as possible about any damage discovered during delivery, missing components, or a product that does not correspond to the order by sending a description and photographs to:

The buyer is advised to retain the product packaging until the matter has been reviewed.
6. Oversized and Heavy Products
Oversized or heavy products are delivered to the nearest location that the delivery vehicle can access safely, technically, and lawfully.
Before placing the order or before delivery, the buyer must inform SIA “vvwood” of any circumstances that may affect delivery, including:
narrow or inaccessible roads;
vehicle weight or height restrictions;
locked courtyards or gates;
difficult access to the building;
the need for a lifting device or other equipment;
other unloading restrictions.
Carrying the product indoors, moving it to a specific room, lifting it to another floor, assembly, installation, or special unloading is not included in the standard delivery service unless agreed separately in writing.
Where the product cannot be unloaded safely because the buyer provided incomplete information or failed to prepare the delivery location, additional transportation, waiting, or redelivery charges may apply.
7. Characteristics of Natural Wood Products
Products offered by SIA “vvwood” may be manufactured from natural wood, including juniper and other wood materials.
Natural wood products may vary in:
colour;
grain direction and pattern;
knots;
texture;
shape;
size of individual wood slices;
growth rings;
natural cracks and irregularities;
intensity of aroma;
other natural characteristics.
The appearance of a product may differ slightly from the photographs published in the online store because every natural wood product is unique.
Such natural variations do not, by themselves, constitute a defect or non-conformity where the product corresponds to its description and essential characteristics and is suitable for its intended purpose.
Natural wood may react to changes in humidity and temperature during transportation and storage. After receiving the product, the buyer must follow the applicable storage, care, and installation instructions.
8. Incorrect Delivery Information and Unaccepted Products
Where the buyer has provided inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect delivery information, SIA “vvwood” is not responsible for any resulting delay or failed delivery.
SIA “vvwood” is also not responsible for delivery delays where:
the buyer cannot be contacted;
no recipient is present at the delivery location;
the buyer refuses to accept the product without a valid reason;
the delivery location cannot be accessed safely;
unloading cannot be carried out;
delivery is delayed by customs or other public authorities.
Where the product is not accepted or delivery cannot be completed due to circumstances attributable to the buyer, the order may be returned to SIA “vvwood” or placed in the carrier’s storage facility.
Redelivery, storage, an address change, or the return of the product may be subject to an additional charge, which will be agreed with the buyer before redelivery.
9. Transfer of Risk
Where the buyer is a consumer, the risk of accidental loss of or damage to the product passes to the buyer when the product is physically handed over to the buyer or to a third party designated by the buyer other than the carrier.
Where the buyer has independently selected a carrier that was not offered by SIA “vvwood”, the risk may pass to the buyer when the product is handed over to that carrier, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
After receiving the product, the buyer is responsible for its proper:
storage;
unpacking;
handling;
installation;
maintenance;
use.
10. Circumstances Beyond the Control of SIA “vvwood”
SIA “vvwood” is not responsible for delivery delays caused by circumstances that could not reasonably be controlled, including:
carrier service disruptions;
traffic restrictions;
adverse weather conditions;
strikes;
natural disasters;
border or customs control delays;
restrictions imposed by public authorities;
war or other extraordinary circumstances.
In such cases, SIA “vvwood” will contact the buyer and provide information about a possible extension of the delivery period or another available solution.
11. Questions and Dispute Resolution

The buyer is advised to include:
the order number;
the buyer’s full name or company name;
the delivery address;
a description of the question or issue;
photographs where the issue concerns damage to the product or packaging.
Disputes and disagreements should first be resolved through mutual negotiation.
Consumers may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia or use other dispute-resolution procedures available under applicable law.
